Introduction
quickTerm can be used either through the windows client or through a web client. The advantage of the web client is the much easier rollout in an organization, because it is a web site. No clients have to be installed on the local machines. Also, access for users outside the organization can be made possible more easily.
quickTerm Web offers the same functionality as the quickTerm clients, except for the system-wide hotkey and a reduced administration interface. For the system administration, the client is required. If you want to use a hot key in combination with quickTerm Web, quickTerm Express needs to be installed on the local machine.

Many of the features and options described in this document depent on the user role and also on the configuration. That means that they might differ from this documentation or be missing completely.
 
 
Shortcuts
Many client features can be reached via shortcuts. These can be set up in the personal settings of a user in the desktop client. Please contact your quickTerm administrator if you want to change these settings.
